Information

Mandalo is a village in the prefecture of Pella. Previously until 1928 it was called Mandalovo. The community was founded in the village in 1931. The first agricultural production was wheat and later tobacco. In 1934 was established the Agricultural Cooperative Mandalou. In the five years 1980 - 1985, systematic peach tree planting began and traditional tobacco and wheat began to be abandoned. Apricots, olives and cherries are also less cultivated. Today the cooperative's agricultural production is based on peaches, nectarines, apricots and kiwi. The products of MANDALO AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION are distinguished for their excellent taste, their excellent color and their nutritional value. The main and dominant functions of MANDALO AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION are the collection, marketing and promotion of all agricultural products produced locally, in the internal and external market.
