The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives (EAS) Monofatsi is located in the south of the prefecture of Heraklion, in the middle of the plain of Messara (the largest plain of Crete), in the Municipality of Kofina, based in Assimi. It has been operating for 25 years with the standardization of olive oil, the marketing of milk, sultanas, raisins, organic feeds and fertilizers. It also provides advice in accordance with international regulations and develops studies on organic crops for the production of organic products.
